It’s been 14 years since Pleasure P first made his mark on the music industry as part of R&B group Pretty Ricky. Now, he’s back with a new solo career and a renewed commitment to making great music. His latest album, Life After Pretty Ricky Music, is an exploration of love and heartbreak that has already won him critical acclaim. For those who have followed Pleasure P’s journey over the past decade and a half, this album represents the culmination of a long road traveled – but it also offers something entirely new for fans old and new alike.

Pleasure P burst onto the scene in 2005 as one fourth of Pretty Ricky, an iconic rap-R&B hybrid group out of Miami. Alongside its four members – Baby Blue, Slick ‘em Spectacular, 4 Play & Pleasure P himself – Pretty Ricky quickly became known for their catchy melodies and daring lyrics. But after two albums together, Pleasure P went solo in 2008. He soon released his debut single “Did You Wrong” which peaked at #25 on Billboard Hot 100 chart – marking the beginning of his successful solo endeavor.

Now with 10 years under his belt as a solo artist, Pleasure P is finally ready to release his second studio album: Life After Pretty Ricky Music. This 16 track masterwork marks a return to form for the veteran singer/songwriter; blending silky smooth hooks with raw emotionality that makes for an unforgettable listening experience every time you press play! From soulful ballads like “Used To Be Me” to upbeat club bangers like “Take Yo Time (featuring Flo Rida), there’s something here for everyone looking to take pleasure in some good vibes.

Biography Of Pleasure P

Pleasure P is an American singer and songwriter from Miami, Florida. Born Marcus Cooper in 1984, his music career began when he joined the R&B group Pretty Ricky as a teen. He released four studio albums with them before embarking on a solo career in 2009. His debut album ‘The Introduction of Marcus Cooper’ was met with critical acclaim and spawned several chart-topping singles that earned him two Grammy Award nominations.

Since then, Pleasure P has continued to pursue success as a solo artist while staying true to his roots in hip hop and R&B. His second album ‘Life After Pretty Ricky’ showcased his more mature sound and featured guest appearances by artists such as T-Pain, Rick Ross, The Dream, and Snoop Dogg. In addition to releasing music independently through his own label Blue Star Music Group, he has also collaborated with other established acts like Flo Rida, Plies, Akon, and Tyga.

His most recent project ‘Back To Love’ saw him return to the soulful feel of his earlier work while still incorporating modern sounds into the mix. With its combination of classic melodies and contemporary production values it looks set to be another hit for Pleasure P as he continues to build upon his legacy in the world of urban music.

Solo Career Highlights

Pleasure P has accomplished a great deal since his solo career began in 2009. His debut album, ‘The Introduction of Marcus Cooper’, earned widespread acclaim and two Grammy Award nominations for its lead single, Boyfriend #2. Since then he has released numerous singles that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as collaborations with some of hip-hop’s biggest names such as Flo Rida, Plies, Akon and Tyga.

In 2017 Pleasure P returned to the studio to record his second LP ‘Life After Pretty Ricky’. The album featured guest appearances by T-Pain, Rick Ross, The Dream and Snoop Dogg while also showcasing his more mature sound. With no shortage of smooth melodies and hard-hitting beats it was an immediate hit amongst urban music fans.

Most recently Pleasure P released the EP ‘Back To Love’ which saw him return to the soulful feel of earlier work but still incorporating modern production values into the mix. This project is sure to please old and new fans alike; showing once again why Pleasure P remains one of today’s most respected artists in urban music circles.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Pleasure P’s solo career has been an immense success. After leaving the group Pretty Ricky to pursue a solo career, he released his first album in 2009 and it went on to reach number ten on the Billboard 200 chart. He then followed up with several more albums, singles and mixtapes that have all achieved commercial success as well. His life after Pretty Ricky has seen him become one of R&B’s most successful artists, proving that talent can take you far even when starting from humble beginnings.

He continues to tour around the world and release new music consistently while inspiring many aspiring singers who are looking for guidance. Although there were doubts about whether or not he could succeed without the support of Pretty Ricky behind him, Pleasure P was determined to prove them wrong. I’m sure his fans will be eagerly awaiting what comes next from this talented musician!
