Britney Spears is threatening to take a Florida radio station to court over a series of billboard advertisements that used her bald-headed image next to the captions ‘Certifiable’, ‘Shock Therapy’ and ‘Total Nut Jobs.’ The star is less than impressed with WFLZ’s advertising hoardings for MJ Morning Show, which her lawyer claims are “outrageous in the extreme.” In a letter he says: “It was outrageous in the extreme that Clear Channel created and displayed the billboards in the first place. That Clear Channel then had the unabashed temerity to lie about their removal shocks the conscience. “We demand a complete inventory of all Clear Channel billboards containing my client’s photograph… We must also insist upon documentary evidence verified under penalty of perjury to establish that all of the billboards have in fact been taken down.” Hip-Hop and R&B superstar Lil Fizz of the multi-platinum group B2K is set to release his debut album PayDay on July 17th. The first single “Beds” will feature Ray J and it will begin rotation this summer. “That’s why I’m so excited and proud about this album. Now I can be me. Former Destiny’s Child members Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams intentionally spread out the release of their solo albums so they don’t compete with each other. All three R&B singers have forged successful solo careers since the group split in 2005 – and they put it down to their conscious effort not to upstage each other. Rowland says, “We don’t like to release albums at the same time. We don’t think of it as competition, but everyone else does so we try to avoid it.” Mariah Carey unveiled her scent to beauty editors at a lavish cocktail party in Soho Monday night, which she hosted with Elizabeth Arden, her fragrance licensee.
