Pop/Soul singer Jesse McCartney has just signed on to star in an episode of the crime drama series, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” which will air some time next year.
The 24-year-old will reportedly play the character of a recent college graduate named Wes, who becomes unconscious after being involved in a car accident. From then, he will become close with Nick (George Eads), as they investigate what happened behind the crash and to McCartney’s alter ego. The episode is entitled “Seeing Red,” and it is set to air on February 15th.
McCartney isn’t the first recording artist to make a guest appearance on the CSI set. Just last year, Justin Bieber starred on the show as a troubled youngster named Jason McCann.
Aside from participating in CSI, Jesse McCartney is also busy in the studio working on his upcoming album, as well as playing the voice of Theodore in the latest Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel.
