Carl Thomas: Conquer – Verve Music Group

After facing several battles in his personal life, Carl Thomas reemerges with the new album ‘Conquer.’ The set is led by the Rico Love-produced 60s and 70s infused first single “Don’t Kiss Me,” which displays Thomas’ signature vocal style that fans recall from hits like “Emotional.” ‘Conquer’ serves as Thomas’ first album in four years and presents a new melodious niche, instead of the traditional R&B course. The album features production from Harris, Rico Love, Mario Winans, Blac Elvis (Beyonce/Fergie), Heavy D and Mike Winans.

Purchase: Conquer – Carl Thomas

Robin Thicke: Love After War – Interscope

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Robin Thicke follows his last album ‘Sex Therapy’ with ‘Love After War.’ The project serves as Thicke’s fifth effort and is led by the title track, with the official video co-starring his wife, Paula Patton. Collaborations on the album are said to include Usher, Maxwell, Faith Evans and Pharrell.

T-Pain: rEVOLVEr – RCA

After several delays, multi-talented auto-tune man T-Pain releases his fourth album entitled ‘rEVOLVEr’ on RCA Records. On the forthcoming set, T-Pain expands outside of his normal urban music style. “I’ve developed a new audience from the Taylor Swift stuff, the Bud Light and Toshiba commercials, the T-Pain Mic and App. There is music for everyone on this album, but definitely still classic T-Pain at the same time.” His latest single “5 O’ Clock” featuring Lily Allen and Wiz Khalifa is one example of pulling in new inspiration with a touch of signature T-Pain; the song is moving quickly up the Billboard charts.

Purchase: rEVOLVEr – T-Pain

Amy Winehouse: Lioness: Hidden Treasures

‘Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures’ is the first posthumous album from soul/jazz singer Amy Winehouse, since her passing in July 2011 of alcohol poisoning at 27 years old. The set includes unreleased materials as well as cover versions of classic songs. $1 dollar from the sale of every CD will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which aims to help young people in Britain and abroad with problems including ill-health, disability and addiction.

Purchase: Lioness: Hidden Treasures – Amy Winehouse

Mateo: Love & Stadiums II – Krucial Noise

R&B newcomer Mateo releases his debut EP ‘Love & Stadiums II,’ the follow-up to his critically acclaimed mixtape “Love and Stadiums.” Executive produced by songwriter-producer, Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, who signed Mateo to his Krucial Noise label following the singer’s departure from MySpace Records, the set features Brothers’ long-time collaborator Alicia Keys.
