Fans have been waiting impatiently for new music from R&B veteran Brandy, and some have even taken matters into their own hands with the leak of a new song entitled “Silent Night.” With the track floating around on the Internet for a while, Brandy seemed to take the leak well, despite it being rumored to be on her forthcoming album.
When Brandy finally found out about the leak, she took to Twitter to address it. “I know I’m late but was Silent Night leaked? Lord have mercy!!! Can’t keep a record in the cut! I’m glad tho, cuz I’m taking 4ever!” Brandy tweeted.
“Now y’all know I don’t toot my own horn, but a b**ch Slayed silent night. cocky moment!! promise after this tweet, I’m back to eating my humble pie!! Enjoy!”
The single is off of her upcoming sixth studio album, which should be coming out soon. In the meantime, Brandy is busy on set of her new movie ‘The Marriage Counselor.’
