‘X Factor’ USA judge L.A. Reid has reportedly signed a deal to become the chairman of Epic Label Group, a new organization formed which will encompass Epic and Jive Records.
Reid will inherit Usher and Pink, two artist whom he discovered, as well as search for new talent to sign to the label. It is expected that he will direct to company more towards urban acts which was a different agenda of the former companies.
The 55-year-old executive will start his post after the fourth of July holiday.
