Steve Harvey has fired back at three viral Youtube videos posted by his ex-wife, blasting the Actor/Comedian for being a horrible husband.
In the videos, Mary Harvey accused Steve of cheating on her constantly throughout their marriage and then evicting her from their former home. One clip states, “He turned my son against me, had me evicted from my house… I woke up, and everything was gone.”
Taking action, a statement from Steve’s attorney Bobbie Edmonds reads: “We are appalled and aware of the videos and other fabricated documents… which contained false, misleading, derogatory, disparaging, malicious, explicit and slanderous information about Mr. Harvey, his current wife and others.”
Steve Harvey would not personally respond to the accusations because of “existing court gag orders,” Edmonds said. He is “taking necessary legal steps” against the ex-wife because of the videos, which he said violate court orders “which prohibit either party, their lawyers or representatives from discussing and releasing information on the internet and to the media,” Edmonds added.
“We are saddened that the ex-wife has resorted to such devious and selfish behavior, with a reckless disregard for their minor son, her adult son and Mr. Harvey’s other children.”
The Harveyâs ended their 16-year marriage in 2005. And Mary alleges that her ex-husband’s current wife, Marjorie Bridges, was originally his mistress when they were married.
