R&B singer Trey Songz recently stated in an interview with Wendy Williams that “he’s gone 40 days without drinking alcohol.” The “Can’t Be Friends” crooner, who recently debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart with his fourth studio ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure,’ spoke with radio host Angela Yee about why he stopped drinking. “There is so much that goes into a tour, promoting an album, with both of the singles going and having to have such a short period of time [to] differentiate these singles from the Ready album and promote this album (PPP) within like a two – three month period, I wanted to make sure I was all the way focused,” Songz says. Yee also addressed a comment Trey made, “being single is more marketable than being in a relationship,” by asking “Mr. steal you girl” if it would apply to women who didn’t find him attractive. “It would probably be much different…it wouldn’t have the same hysteria that I do right now, the whole aura of the screaming and just, you know, women loving more about me than just my music.” When Yee asked if he listens to friend Chris Brown’s slow jamz when he’s having sex he replied laughing, “Then I got to worry about girls thinking about him while I’m…., you know what I’m saying. You’ve got to eliminate those kinds of issues.” With regards to Lauren London Trey says, “We’re not together or we’re not in that space right now,” but that his mother has met her and that they’re just friends. “I’m very single,” and added that in relation to Grabbing Tamala Jones derriere, “I was just grabbing her ass in a picture, I don’t even have her number,” which garnered laughs and a sly look from Trey who continued, “I told her I was going to grab her ass…she was all the way with it, I grabbed her ass. It was a picture. How many stories did we make with that?” Passion, Pain & Pleasure is in stores now. Check out TeamYee.tv for more on this interview.

Trey Songz has been making waves in the music industry for almost two decades. He is known for his chart-topping R&B tunes, but lately he’s been talking about something a bit different: why he stopped drinking and the unexpected hug between actress Tamala Jones and Lauren London. The singer recently gave an interview where he opened up about these topics and more. It was a candid discussion that revealed some insights into Trey’s life that fans may not have expected. In this article, we will explore what Trey said and how it paints a bigger picture of his life story. So buckle up as we dive deep into all the juicy details!

Reasons For Quitting Alcohol

When Trey Songz stopped drinking alcohol, he said it was for his health and future. He explained that he had been living an unhealthy lifestyle for too long, which included partying and overindulging in alcohol. Plus, he wanted to be the best version of himself for the people around him who were counting on him.
“I want to make sure I’m there not only mentally but physically,” Songz told XXL Magazine. “I want to remain healthy so that I can continue doing what I’m doing and stay active as a performer.”
The singer also revealed why he decided to quit now: because his career is more important than ever before. With new projects coming out and fans wanting more music, Trey knew he needed to focus all of his energy into creating good art rather than indulging in bad habits.
He added that by giving up alcohol, he’s able to put more time and effort into perfecting his craft while staying sober-minded. This newfound focus has allowed him to create some really great work lately—something that wouldn’t have been possible if he hadn’t made this change in his life. All in all, quitting alcohol was one of the most beneficial decisions Trey could’ve made for both his personal health and professional success.

Trey Songz’s Relationship With Lauren London And Tamala Jones

Trey Songz has been open about his relationships with actresses Lauren London and Tamala Jones. In an interview with The Breakfast Club, he spoke candidly about how both of them are a major part of his life and how their support keeps him going.
He also confirmed that the two have become close friends—so much so that they even share hugs! Trey said in the same interview that Tamala was giving him a “butt hug” before getting on stage at one of his shows last year. It’s clear that these two women have had a positive influence in the singer’s life and he is grateful for it.

When asked what advice he would give to other people who are struggling with addiction like he once did, Trey emphasized the importance of being honest with yourself and those around you. He also reminded us all to take time out every day to appreciate family and friends, as well as taking care of our physical health by eating right and exercising regularly. Ultimately, living your best life means making sure you’re always striving for greatness while keeping those closest to you in mind.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Trey Songz has revealed why he stopped drinking and his relationships with Lauren London and Tamala Jones. His decision to quit alcohol was rooted in the fact that it was not helping him reach his goals or improve his life. In addition, he wanted to set a better example for those around him, including his family and fans. He also shared how close he is to both Lauren London and Tamala Jones; they are two people who have had an incredible impact on his life. Through their friendship, support, and love, Trey Songz has been able to stay focused on achieving great things while staying positive through difficult times. Overall, it’s clear that Trey Songz is well-supported by the people in his life which enables him to make wise decisions like quitting alcohol.
