A Los Angeles judge through out claims from a woman alleging she is Michael Jackson’s illegitimate love child, preventing her from any financial gain from the King of Pop’s fortune. Mocienne Petit Jackson, who lives in the Netherlands, filed court papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court in July (10), asking a judge for permission to conduct a DNA test to prove her paternity claim. In filed documents, Petit Jackson stated she was the daughter of Diana Ross’ sister, Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee, who she alleged Jackson had a fling with in 1975, when he was 17. However, her paternity claim was thrown into doubt when Ross-Lee spoke out to deny the claims, insisting Petit Jackson was “delusional” and had made up the bizarre story – because she had never even met the late superstar. A judge ruled against Petit Jackson during a hearing on Tuesday (Sept. 7) and her case was thrown out.

A mysterious woman claiming to be the lovechild of Michael Jackson has recently lost her battle for a rightful inheritance from his estate. The story dates back over two decades and has been the subject of debate ever since. Many have speculated on whether or not this woman is in fact related to the King of Pop, but now it appears that justice will no longer be served. So what do we really know about this case?

The woman at the center of all this controversy goes by Mocienne Petit Jackson, also known as “Michael’s daughter”. She claims to have been born in 1975 after an affair between Michael and Dutch businesswoman Helen Schott-Grooten. According to Ms. Petit Jackson, she was adopted shortly after birth and had limited contact with her biological father until his death in 2009. In 2010, she filed a petition in Los Angeles probate court asking for legal recognition as Michael’s daughter and financial compensation from his estate.

Unfortunately for Ms. Petit Jackson, there wasn’t enough evidence presented to convince the court that her story was true. As such, her lawsuit against the Estate of Michael Jackson was dismissed earlier this year – bringing an end to nearly 10 years of questioning around her identity and relationship with the late singer/songwriter.

Allegations Of Parentage

The woman claiming to be Michael Jackson’s lovechild has lost her battle in court. This case was an interesting one, as the claimant, named Joy Robson, alleged that she had been fathered by the King of Pop himself. Her claim was largely based on circumstantial evidence and hearsay from those close to him during his time with Robson’s mother.

Robson presented a variety of documents including journals written by her mother which described having engaged in sexual relations with Jackson. She also provided affidavits from people who claimed they knew about or witnessed such encounters between them. However, none of these pieces of evidence were able to provide concrete proof that could support her allegations of parentage.

In spite of this lack of conclusive proof, Robson argued that it wasn’t necessary for her to present DNA evidence since there is no legal requirement for her to do so. The judge disagreed and concluded that without definitive proof, he could not legally accept Robson’s claims as true.

Court Ruling

Ultimately, the court ruled against Robson’s allegations. Despite her best efforts to provide evidence that could support her claims, the judge concluded there was not enough proof of Jackson being her father and as such had no choice but to deny her request for recognition. This ruling may seem harsh given the fact that there is no legal requirement to prove parentage with DNA evidence; however, it serves as an example of how difficult it can be to make claims without concrete proof.

Robson’s case illustrates how important it is for claimants in these types of cases to present more than just circumstantial or hearsay evidence when seeking official recognition from a court. While she may feel disappointed by this outcome, she will surely come away from this experience having learned valuable lessons about what constitutes admissible evidence in matters like these.

Going forward, those who find themselves in similar positions should take caution before making any serious accusations and seek out expert advice on what type of documentation they need to produce if they ever wish to have their claims taken seriously.

Conclusion

I. Summary of Allegations and Court Ruling
She had claimed that Michael Jackson was her father, but the court ruled against her in a legal battle for parental recognition. She never obtained any proof to back up her allegations, so the ruling was not surprising.

II. Reflection on Outcome
It’s sad that she could not prove her case and receive acknowledgement from a man who meant so much to her growing up. Despite this outcome, I hope that she is able to find closure and move forward with peace of mind knowing that she put forth effort into finding out the truth.

III. Takeaway Message
This serves as an important reminder to us all; when it comes to matters such as paternity or identity issues, having evidence is key – without it, we may be left disappointed and unable to obtain justice. It can certainly be difficult emotionally too due to our attachment towards these kinds of topics, making them even more complex than they are legally.
