‘The X Factor’ winner Alexandra Burke is ready to bring her vocals to U.S. audiences but, with a few new songs. “I’m working on an American version of “Overcome,” Burke tells the Daily Star. “I’m writing a few things for it. Ideally I just want to lay down some ideas, present it to the label and then see what happens.” Burke, who built a rapport with fellow entertainer Beyonce on ‘The X Factor,’ says she’d love to work with Beyonce when it comes time to make her stateside debut. While Burke’s “Overcome” is being revamped for a stateside release, she hopes to maintain her sound as evidenced on the hit single “Bad Boys”. “I don’t think we’re going to change it that much for the American market as the videos will definitely stay the same.” Burke’s “Overcome,” her debut album after winning ‘The X Factor,’ shot to the top of the UK Albums chart upon release earlier this year. A release date for the U.S. edition of “Overcome” has not been revealed.
