MTV Video Music Award winner Taylor Swift says she has been completely blown away by support given from recording artists she’s never even met, including Janet Jackson. “Artists that I didnât even assume knew who I was (have supported me),â Swift, told Elvis Duran during an interview on Z100 Friday. âI woke up the next day and I had flowers in my hotel room from Janet Jackson.” As previously reported, Swift was giving an acceptance speech during Sunday’s MtV Video Music Awards before being interrupted by Kanye West. West, claiming Beyonce should have won the award, has since apologized. Nonetheless, Swift feels lucky to be showered with support, even if it is in response to Kanye West’s interruption. “I am blown away by all the love that was thrown in my direction and feel very lucky and blessed to have people come and support me like that.” Swift’s 2008 album “Fearless” has been certified 4X Platinum since its release.
