Organizers for Sunday’s BET Awards have officially revamped both the show and red carpet with Michael Jackson related tributes. They have also added an extra half hour of programming ! In a release early Sunday, BET Award organizers confirmed that the show would officially feature performances from unexpected guests as well as moments that are geared toward the King of Pop. While names have not been confirmed, Los Angeles sources say Chris Brown, Usher and Justin Timberlake have all expressed interest in appearing. With both Usher and Timberlake, who were not originally booked to appear, reportedly flying out to Los Angeles. Beyonce, already scheduled to perform, has reportedly revamped her set and will perform some form of a tribute. The 2009 BET Awards will air, with a new time, 8:00pm – 11:30pm ET, Live! from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.
