Mariah Carey’s anticipated album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” just landed an August release date. Led by the single “Obsessed,” Carey’s 12th studio album will arrive in stores August 25, instead of a previously believed mid-September date. Taking to Twitter with the news, Carey says “The 1st single from my new album MEMOIRS OF AN IMPERFECT ANGEL is called ‘Obsessed’ and will be at radio Tuesday. I’m a lil’ exc … Seriously, this is one of my favorite songs ever. I love the whole album. I’m completely immersed in it. I can’t wait for you to hear it.” Executive produced by Antonio L.A. Reid, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” features work written and produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” arrives August 25.
