Rihanna 'Over Compensating' With Skin Baring Outfits ?
Rihanna has been viewed as a fashionista and perhaps icon over the last year. According to an expert however, Rihanna's recent skin baring outfits are compensating for inner pain and control.
"She's sending a message that she's the one in control now, and she's on the right path, but by being so provocative, she's over-compensating," Melbourne psychologist Sarah Calleja tells the Daily Telegraph.
"After a trauma people either go into victim mode, where they suffer for a long time, or they thrive."
Citing trauma from being attacked by Chris Brown in February and subsequent worldwide attention, sources say Rihanna's sexy attire links to one thing -- control.
Donning sheer, pasties, and breast bearing tops over the last few months, including the above outfit worn during the Milan hosted Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Week, sources say Rihanna is trying to establish the fact that she, and not Chris Brown, is control.
Calling it "quite deliberate," the Daily Telegraph gives brevity to the fact that Rihanna has raised eyebrows in recent weeks and shows no sign of slowing down.
Earlier this month, sources claiming to be close to Jay-Z said he was concerned with the "Rehab" singer's new attitude and partying habits.
"Lately Jay has been worried for Rihanna as she has been doing a lot of partying and not so much working! Jay is scared Rihanna is losing her professional edge and so has decided to hire a bodyguard for Rihanna to try to keep her partying in check," Posh 24 reported.
In related news, Rihanna was spotted in Germany at a photo session for the forthcoming follow up to "Good Girl Gone Bad".
The album is at this time untitled but, has made headlines in recent weeks with both Ne-Yo and Justin Timberlake confirming contributions.
Rihanna is also due to hit the studio with Tricky Stewart ("Umbrella").

rih and kanye are not a bad infulence for jayz at all. rihanna is back hard at work and t swift is going to be on saturday night live and kanye west is going to show up they anounced on the today show. and when you make a mistake thats not the dam end of your life if that be the case why do other people get more chances. both of them have got a chance to redeem themself. what the case is theres a lot of people who do not like jayz having people working with him in the first place rih and kanyes lifes are not over not by a long shot. both of them has a lot to offer the industry.
when rih went her and c/b troubles the people was saying that it was all her fault, and now that its all over but the last dance she is still trying to move on with her life theres still left over mess from the chris brown fall out . people was harsh on rih when this was going on and she does not ever have to be s spokes woman for dv because we have enouyh people thats serving the cause already . and besides that people wants to hear her speak on it so that they can keep kicking her in the back for no reason and i feel that she is being smart by keeping her mouth closed.
Rih's style has definitely taken a turn over the past few months. and i would agree that it is probably influenced by her mental and emotional state, and by a desire to make a statement that "it" is not controlling her. it may not be chris that's fueling her need to present herself as in control. it could be the media, who have been on the girl's heals for over a year. it could be her "team", who in a desire to help might be imposing their collective will on her. it could be her family, who want to protect her from what they perceive as a "wrong road", instead of just letting her travel her path... to which she may choose to rebel. i've said it since the day that i heard about the "incident", Rih should get counseling. Not from a family member or from friends, but from an impartial, dispassionate party that can help her get to the root of the problem and find ways to deal with it so that the scars of that situation don't remain open and festering for years to come.
not everything should fall on chris brown rihanna does have a violent streak and she shouldnt of allowed this to continue to first and supposedly second time this occurred wish her the best but she needs to relax before she has a break down

She's a young ARTIST with a keen sense of the connection of her body (image) to her art. She aint acting like some crazed, delusional (I refuse to grow up) heiffer like Pariah Scarey. When my titties were just so, I showed them off too. Well, I still show them off. Give it to mama!
I'm sure Rihanna wants to see Chris...and that is customary too. Like with any negative behavior pattern, the proper intervention and accountability can help a couple to re-establish a healthy relationship after this type of situation but emotional work has to be done.

I worked in DV for 5 years and two of the cardinal rules of dealing with a DV survivor are u cannot be judgemental nor pressure the person to end their relationship. The media and some of her fans have broken these rules much to Rih's detriment. Rih is feeling constrained by the judge's stay away order and everyone's judging eyes. Stop telling her she needs to be an advocate 4 others (um.JayZ) bc she is not at that place. She is rebelling and wanting 2 prove evryone wrong. FALL BACK! She like any other person of trauma needs love and support 4 whateva decision she makes.
