Now that Rihanna has work with Justin Timberlake and Stargate in the can, the “Rehab” singer has her sights set on a reunion with “Umbrella” hit maker Tricky Stewart. Stewart, confirming his intent to work with the diva by month’s end, says he’s already fallen in love with a few ideas. “Rihanna and I will be getting in the studio sometime in the next two weeks, so we actually have not recorded anything for her new album yet,” Stewart told Rap-Up. While not much else was revealed, Stewart says there will be nothing like “Umbrella” on this album. “Man, you know we can’t do that. We come out with something that sounds like ‘Umbrella,’ they’re gonna be saying that we tried to do something that sounded like ‘Umbrella,’ said Stewart. “That’s not what the great artists do. They don’t even allow you to do stuff like that. Every great artist always wants to hear something they’ve never heard before.” Rihanna’s next album is due to be released late 2009, if not 2010.
