Chart-topping producer Polow Da Don says he’s been in the studio with Chris Brown and Rihanna recently and is set to speak with Dr. Phil about the experience ! Confirming the rumored duet with both Brown and Rihanna in the studio, recording an as yet untitled duet, Polow Da Don told the LA Times “I think they are both great musical artists.” “My heart goes out to both Chris Brown and Rihanna regarding what happened in the past. I enjoyed working with both of them.” While the producer, known widely for his work with Ciara, Ludacris, Rich Boy and Keri Hilson, did not confirm the title or when the recording was made, sources close to the producer say the song was originally intended for Rihanna but was remixed to include Brown. Originally due to be released later in the year, sources say Polow Da Don requested they push the project forward and the embattled duo agreed. Brown, who released an official statement canceling his appearance and connection with this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards after protests and petitions began to dominate news, will reportedly sing about “love being complicated and blind”. The duet, their first since a remix of “Umbrella” performed at the MTV Video Music Awards, is said to speak directly to the couples situation. According to the LA Times, Polow Da Don is booked to appear on Dr. Phil Wednesday afternoon and will speak further about his experience with Brown and Rihanna.
