Sevyn Streeter continues to heighten anticipation around her forthcoming debut album, Girl Disrupted, with the release of the new record, ‘Before I Do.’
On the stripped-down tune, the R&B songstress finds herself in the gray area of love: she’s trying to figure out if her boo is real or if he’s unfaithful.
“I wanna let go, but I don’t really know / I heard you got a girlfriend,” she sings. “I’m tryna go to another level with you / But before I do, I wanna know before I go there with you.”
Girl Disrupted will arrive on January 27, 2017 and is preceded by several songs and visuals including The-Dream-assisted ‘D4L,’ ‘My Love for You‘ and the Gucci Mane-assisted ‘Prolly.’
Along with the upcoming LP, Streeter recently announced the “Girl Disrupted Tour,” which kicks off on Jan. 12 in St. Louis, Missouri and hit several big cities, including Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston before wrapping Feb. 12 at The Roxy in Los Angeles.
