You’ll Be Under A Spell After Watching Ray Hodge’s ‘Voodoo’ Video

When Jamaica, Queens native Ray Hodge first declared “I Am King,” he had our full attention. Now he back with “Voodoo,” a brand new video from his debut EP, Braveheart out October 28th.

Combined with Ray’s soulful, powerhouse vocals, the lyrics command listeners to “let them spirits go” and not let negativity influence their lives or change who they are. Set in the woods, the video, produced by Alexa San Roman (Heirsound), welcomes the fall season by giving off a spooky vibe with remnants of magic, New Orleans, and all things “voodoo.”

Here is what Ray had to say about the track:

“What I want the song to those who are listening, do not let the negativity of your surroundings make, break or create your day. Especially when it starts to make it hard to do anything, like breathe. Just let them bad spirits go.”
