During the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia last night (July 26), Alicia Keys and Andra Day showed their support by performing at the arena full of delegates.
Keys performed her song “Superwoman” in support of the Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who would be the first woman president of the U.S. if she wins the election this fall. She also performed her latest single “In Common,” a shameless plug for her new music and a way to express unity within the political party.
Andra Day also dropped by the convention to perform her song “Rise Up.” Following her performance, the mothers of victims of Sandra Bland, Trayvon Martin, and Jordan Davis all addressed the crowd about why the would be voting for Clinton this election.
