Today, Kehlani unleashes the first single “Crzy” from her highly-anticipated debut album due this fall.
This hard-hitter an unapologetic statement that embraces the challenges and double standards that come with being a woman; she takes being called crazy a compliment.
“Everything I do I do it with a passion/ If I gotta be a bitch, I’mma be a bad one,” she opens on the first verse. “And baby if they askin’/ Tell ’em, tell ’em, tell ’em, tell ’em I go cray-ay-ay-ay-azy.”
The R&B powerhouse teamed up with two other strong females – songwriter/production duo Novawav – to create an unapologetic statement.
