Electro-soul indie artist Fantine delivers a fresh sound with “Get Up,”a funky, inspirational single about being proactive in your life.
With her raw vocals over live instrumentation produced by Grammy Award Winner Emilio Estefan and Drop, Fantine urges listeners to “Get Up” and follow your dreams. “So don’t look at today like tomorrow…cuz life is a world for the dreamer, and so make sure you dream bigger,” she sings.
Great advice for everyone!
Fantine’s talent and musical style reflects her eclectic ethnic background (born to a Russian father and Dominican mother). The global citizen’s career began to skyrocket in 2013 when she moved to Miami, Fla. and began working on her debut album I Am Fantine with 19-time Grammy Award- winning producer Emilio Estefan and seven-time Grammy Award winning singer- songwriter Gloria Estefan (who also co-wrote two of her songs). Emilio Estefan curated and helped develop Fantine’s most popular songs, including “Bachata de Rosa” and “Reservation for Two.” “Reservation for Two” peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs list. In 2015, Fantine was nominated for a 28th Annual Premios Lo Nuestro Award in the coveted category of Tropical-Female Artist of the Year.
