With K. Michelle’s third album More Issues Than Vogue out on the 25th, cop a listen to one of the album’s standout tracks, “These Men.”
Like always, K. Michelle keeps it 1000 on this track that addresses the heartbreak she feels over past relationships…and when I say past relationships, I mean Michelle’s REAL exes. On the song, she laments about not being able to find someone to give her genuine love, mentioning her exes Memphitz and Idris Elba in the process.
“You see these men don’t know nothing bout love,” she sings on the chorus. “I tried Lance, I tried Bobby, I tried Memph, his ass was sorry / Then I tried Idris (laughs), and he still can get it, even though he ain’t sh*t,” she continues.
Dang! LOL. Surely one many women will be able to relate to to this.
