In honor of the “crown Prince of reggae music,” singer Dennis Brown, Marsha Ambrosius covers his hit “Have You Ever as part of the upcoming Dennis Brown tribute album, We Remember Dennis Brown. Starting off with a capella harmonies, Marsha eases into breezy love song.
In a statement, Ambrosius says, “Dennis Brown and reggae music makes me reminisce, my fond memories of growing up in London when reggae music was and still is prominent. ‘Have You Ever’ is one of those songs you remember! I can still smell the food my mother was cooking, I can hear the vacuum cleaner early hours on a Saturday morning, British pirate radio stations always playing The Crown Prince of Reggae!”
