Last time we heard from Sean Kingston was back in September 2015 when he released the breezy single “Wait Up.” Now he’s back with a new one called “Thank Me,” a smooth offering from his upcoming album Redemption.
The songs has Sean him taking the credit for his girl’s fame, and he thinks she should thank him or the come up. “Now you actin super famous, but without a n*gga, you’d be nameless,” he sings on the first verse.
Last fall, Sean TMZ reported Sean’s claims he was kidnapped by a jeweler over a $225,000 watch, but the case was dropped because L.A. authorities say Sean’s story didn’t make sense.
Be on the lookout for Redemption to arrive later this year.
