Fantasia, Ledisi, Leon Bridges, The Deele, and Jussie Smollett and V. Bozeman from FOX’s “Empire” have all been confirmed to performers at the 2016 BET Honors, which will be filmed this Saturday on Jan. 23 at Washington, D.C.’s Warner Theatre.
The performers will honorees, which include Lee Daniels with the Television and Film Award, Epic Records chairman/CEO Antonio “L.A.” Reid with the Business of Entertainment Award, singer Patti Labelle with the Musical Arts Award, businesswoman Mellody Hobson with the Corporate Citizen Award, and former U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. with the Public Service Award.
Mary J. Blige and Taraji P. Henson will be in attendance as a presenters.
The event will be hosted by Arsenio Hall, and will air on Feb. 23rd on BET at 8 pm.
