Following her latest EP Aviary: Act I, Detroit-bred powerhouse Eryn Allen Kane is preparing the follow-up project Aviary: Act II.
Eryn has a knack for evoking emotion with her rousing rasp and soulful phrasing, and she delivers once again with "How Many Times, a perfect drop for MLK Day.
The song begins with an antsy piano, foreshadowing the growing tension that crescendos into a resounding, gospel-like reprise on which Eryn calls out injustice. “How many times do I have to tell you we go on and on and on, fight oh… / How many lies will they have to tell you?” she sings.
Tomorrow (Jan. 19), Eryn is set to perform "How Many Times" on ABC Chicago's top-rated morning talk show, "Windy City Live." Chicagoans can tune in at 11am CST to watch her live!
Aviary: Act II will arrive on Feb 2nd.
