Last night, Brandy’s new BET sitcom “Zoe Ever After” debuted, and in tandem, she also drops new music, this updated bluesy gem called “Beggin & Pleadin.”
Produced by Pop & Oak, the song is “based on a true story” according to Brandy, who shows why she’s is a force to be reckoned with! Using her signature, flawless raspy runs, Brandy sings her face off on this juke joint jam with contemporary lyrics about regretfully breaking up with her man.
“Told you walk out that door and you can keep your last name / Now I’m down on my knees, it’s a shame,” she soulfully pleads.
