In prep for her album Code Red (arriving on Dec. 18th), Monica has already released two gems from set, the Missy Elliott-assisted/produced title track and Lil Wayne-assisted single “Just Right For Me.”
Now she’s unleashed another collab from the album called “Hustler’s Ambition” featuring Akon. It’s a tender duet that has Akon sweetly singing from afar due to his ambitious lifestyle to his love interest played by Monica, who accepts the long distant relationship as a necessity to provide for their family.
“I pray you make it back home safe tonight,” she tenderly sings The guitar-laden tune was produced by Akon and Philip “Hardwork” Constable.
