The man who has almost single-handedly revived Sam Cooke’s legacy with is vintage look and sound, Columbia Records’ Leon Bridges, will hit the road for the “Leon Bridges 2016” Tour.
His album Coming Home which spawned the title track as well as the cool tunes “Better Man,” and “Smooth Sailin” will get the performance treatment when he kicks it off on March 1st in Atlanta. Leon and his 7-peice band will also visit many major metropolises across the country including New York, Philly, Tulsa, St. Louis, Nashville, Chicago, and Toronto.
Classic singer Andra Day will open for Bridges May 23rd through June 9th (except for the Salt Lake City stop on May 26).
Currently, the Ft. Worth Texas native is on a sold out, fall 2015 trek; the demand for his show so great that a Spring leg of the tour had to be added.
The fan presale (pw: cominghome) and Amex presale started Monday, October 12, with tickets for the tour going on sale to the public Friday, October 16 at 12pm local. Fans can check with local box offices for availability and pricing, and should also visit leonbridges.com for additional information.
