Earlier this year, it was rumored that Usher and his longtime girlfriend, music manager Grace Miguel, got engaged and were planning a summer 2015 wedding. Well, summer came and went, and we thought nothing happened – but it did!
As it turns out, Usher and his lady love wed in a private ceremony before heading to Havana, Cuba for their honeymoon over Labor Day weekend. According to Us Magazine, the couple’s plan was to wed in a fairly big wedding in Atlanta with approximately 100 guests but decided to bypass the possible media coverage and elope.
Back in October 2014, Usher lovingly gushed about Miguel to Billboard. "I have an incredible partner and manager. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career. She’s someone who’s been able to support and understand all of who I am. Not just as a dancer or as a performer or as a singer, but as a humanitarian and a business man and as a person."
This is the second marriage for Usher, who wed Tameka Foster in 2007. They were married for 2 years and have two sons, Naviyd Ely, 6, and Usher Raymond V, 7.
