Following her Grammy-nominated single "Hold Up Wait A Minute (Woo Woo)," Antonique Smith returns with the emotional ballad “Higher (Let Your Guard Down).”
Produced by the platinum-selling duo The Midi Mafia, “Higher” should be relatable for all who have felt the frustration in getting your significant other to commit.
"Higher is about that moment when guys are afraid to commit," says Smith. "When that happens, women start asking all the wrong questions. But, there is something you can say to a man to make him look at you differently and want that commitment. That something is the message of "Higher."
“Higher” is from her EP Love Is Everything arriving this fall on 9:23 Music Group. Along with her EP, Smith will star in the indie film Deuces along with Larenz Tate, Lance Gross, and Meagan Good. The Queen Latifah-produced film will hit theaters in early 2016.
