After a year-long hiatus, Grammy/Dove Award-Winning producer/singer-songwriter/musician Rudy Currence is back. Lately, he’s been releasing a series of video covers called The Currence Chronicles, but today he’s back with some original heat in the form of “Bye Felicia.”
The tune is full of soul and the former DTP artist's subtle humor (like his notable song “Weave Ponytail”) about a dismissing a needy woman:
“Always talking bout your ex this, your ex that / Always asking me for money, should be acting funny after I spent all of my check / I ain’t saying she’s a gold-digger, but she ain’t messing with no broke…” he sings.
