Two months ago, James Fauntleroy collaborated with India Shawn for their Outer Limits EP, and he’s back with a new solo material in the form of “Help.”
On what Faunterloy calls a "random act of dopeness," the song has minimal production with a low bass and dirge-like drum, and James expresses anxiety-laden lyrics of romantic yearning: “Somebody help me out, I’m just a little lost,” he sings.
Fauntleroy’s been busy: he’s appeared on Kendrick Lamar's latest albums To Pimp A Butterfly, Big Sean's Dark Sky Paradise, Snoop Dogg's BUSH and A$AP Rocky's At.Long.Last.A$AP.
