You may remember Joi Tiffany from her part on Stalley’s “Swangin” as the singer on the track’s Mint Condition-inspired hook, as well as her debut solo single “Numb.” Now she’s back with a new single “Next Time.”
Whereas “Numb” had Tiffany in an emotional paralysis stemming from being hurt so much, this one is another soulfully woozy track (produced by Block Beattaz), but this time she’s is much more optimistic; she’s looking on to the next one and encouraging others who’ve given up on love to do the same.
“Keep your head held up high, learn from this time / Adjust and reapply for the next time,” she advises.
Joi is currently working on her debut project. Refreshing!
