Bruno Mars recently when back to recording after completing 99 percent of his 155-date Moonshine Jungle World Tour, and fans will be enjoying some of his new body of work really soon.
Mars has teamed with hit producer Mark Ronson for a collaboration set to blow fans away. The song was sent to CBS Radio for testing and here’s what the Music Director/Asst. Program Director at CBS Radio/WBMX had to say via Twitter:
Just heard the new jam from Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars; I can say, without fear of hyperbole, that its the greatest song of all time.

The Ronson/Bruno tune is like JamesBrown/RickJames/TheTime jamming w/ badass brass band. Filthy, funky, and Bruno simply wails. Incredible!

Now I’m not sure how close a person can get to sounding similar to James Brown, but Mars is definitely one to pull it off, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
I have a strong feeling this new project is going to be bananas! Is anyone else happy?
In related news, Mars and his band, The Hooligans, are set to continue their extended engagement at The Chelsea, the new performance space at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with a sold out 2-night residency on October 17th and 18th.
