After reports that the ladies of popular 90s group Xscape (LaTocha and Tamika Scott, Kandi Burruss, and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle) weren’t speaking to each other due to some alleged “unfinished business,” it seems whatever beef may have been squashed and a reunion may be on the agenda…and soon!
A source tells Singersroom that an Xscape reunion will go down during the current season of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” No word on if there’s a performance involved, or just the women getting together to talk about the rumors of what’s kept them apart, but if true, it should make for some good TV! (especially for the 90s R&B heads!)
The members all have their individual successes; Kandi Burruss is a cast member on RHOA and has a history of writing mega R&B hits, and LaTocha Scott appeared on the previous season of “R&B Divas: Atlanta.” Tameka "Tiny" Harris is married to rapper T.I. and has her own show on VH1 "T.I. & Tiny: Family Hustle," and Tamika Scott successfully written for Tyler Perry plays and film soundtracks.
Xscape’s last album was 1998’s “Traces of My Lipstick,” shortly before they officially disbanded.
“The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” airs on Sundays on Bravo at 8pm EST.
