Did you expect Trey Songz and T.I. to drop a romantic ballad? The label-mates head straight to the club on their latest collaboration “2 Reasons.” The repetitive hand-clapping is the backbone of the track as Mr. Songz activates an uptempo flow. Trey cannot be faulted for his honesty as the only reasons he heads out at night is for “b*tches and drinks,” but the content of the song seems to oppose his career maturity.
“I’m definitely trying to leap forward with every album, and with this album, I think it’s a leap forward and a leap into the past,” Trey told Billboard.com.
The record is featured on his forthcoming fifth studio album ‘Chapter V,’ set to drop in August.
