She may no longer be participating in The X Factor (UK) but, Kelly Rowland won an award for the time she did spend on the hit show Tuesday.
Rowland received TV Personality of the Year at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London.
As widely reported, there had been much speculation over what caused Rowland to quit the series. Some say she was never given an option to renew her contract while the “Motivation” singer said she would not be returning due to other commitments.
Nonetheless, the award proves Kelly Rowland made quite an impression as a television personality.
She is currently at work on a follow up to the “Motivation” led 2011 album “Here I Am.”
