The long anticipated film starring “Not Anymore” singer LeToya Luckett and singer/songwriter Tank titled ‘Preacher’s Kid’ is headed to theaters this month ! Starring Luckett as Angie King, ‘Preacher’s Kid’ features the former Destiny’s Child singer as a 20-something daughter of a minister who sets out to experience life away from the church. Out on her own, she quickly realizes the road to success is not easy. Preacher’s Kid also stars Clifton Powell, Gregory Alan Williams, Kiki Sheard, Trey Songz, and Sharif Atkins. BMI will honor gospel greats Donnie McClurkin and Andraé Crouch at its 11th Annual Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards Luncheon January 15. Taking place in Nashville, just prior to the Stellar Awards, BMI will host gospel music’s premier songwriters, recording artists and music industry executives, as well as the genre’s legends. McClurkin and Andrae Crouch follow previously honored greats Vanessa Bell Armstrong, the Mighty Clouds of Joy and Pastor Marvin Winans.
