SZA and Shawn Mendez join forces to execute a heartwarming duet dedicated to Elton John. The two singers performed a live rendition of the John and Kiki Dee duet hit “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” at the “Elton John: I’m Still Standing Tribute Concert.” The concert is being noted as a GRAMMY special for CBS.

SZA and her luscious mane joined Shawn, his guitar and a live band on the concert stage.

Taking turns singing the song’s lyrics, Elton appeared delighted by the young musicians’ performance.

The duet has been pretty popular, receiving various covers by stars like Jesse McCartney, Anne Hathaway, Macy Gray and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

The tribute aired originally aired on Tuesday (April 10th) and featured performances by Grammy-award winners Lady Gaga, John Legend, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin and Alessia Cara who performed a rocked out rendition of “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues.”

The performances commemorate the recent recordings and production for the covers inspired album Revamp: Reimaging the Songs of Elton Jets & Bernie Taupin which features appearances by Logic, Pink, Demi Lovato, Mary J. Blige, Coldplay, Q-Tip and many more. Pink and Logic can be heard providing an updated take on “Bennie and the Jets.”
