Meelah, Formerly of 702, Releases New Song, ‘Desert Love’

Former 702 singer Meelah returns with the buzz record, ‘Desert Love,’ a sultry and seductive offering that sees her reminiscing about when the love was good.

“When it was good, and it was great,” she sings as she soaks up the memories that’s now gone.

“Desert Love” is a small teaser of what Meelah has planned for her fans as she readies her long-awaited debut album for later this year.

“Shoutout to the birthday boy who produced & co-wrote this joint with me @theofficialjtrx HAPPY BDAY BRO…it’s just the beginning!!!” she wrote on Instagram. “Jus wanted to give y’all a lil’ somethin to show my appreciation for your loyalty & patience!!! Thanks in advance for the support!! Much more to come once the official Meelah Project drops!”

Meelah started her solo campaign back in late 2011, and it looks like no time is better than now to release it.

“Timing is everything. Releasing a project has been a long-awaited moment for me so when SoulStar Music Group approached me I was truly humbled and excited to record my debut solo album,” says Meelah on her forthcoming album (not yet titled).

The singer, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and mom of one is looking forward to officially launching her solo career after having had much success in 702. Stay tuned for more to come from this super talented vocal sensation.
