Today, Epic/Legacy Recordings, in partnership with The Estate of Michael Jackson, release Michael Jackson SCREAM, a collection of 13 of his all-time most electrifying and danceable songs including “Ghosts,” “Torture,” “Thriller,” and “Dirty Diana.” In addition, SCREAM includes a newly created bonus track, “Blood on the Dance Floor X Dangerous,” a high-energy five-song mash-up from the acclaimed remixer The White Panda.
Each track on SCREAM is remarkable in its own way. For example, “Dirty Diana” was the fifth consecutive No. 1 song from the album ‘Bad,’ which shattered records for consecutive chart-topping singles off a single album; “Thriller”, penned by Rod Temperton, was the seventh of an unprecedented seven Top 10 singles from Thriller, the biggest-selling album of all time; and the Top 5 hit “Scream” is the only duet between Michael Jackson and his sister Janet. Also included are fan favorites from The Jacksons’ albums – “Torture” and “This Place Hotel” (the first single to be written, composed, and arranged solely by Michael); and, making its first appearance on a Michael Jackson album, “Somebody’s Watching Me,” the international 1985 hit by Rockwell featuring an iconic hook sung by Michael.
Mary Mary member Tina Campbell releases her latest solo studio album, ‘It’s Still Personal,’ a re-work of her 2015 debut ‘It’s Personal.’ The project features three new original tracks – the heartfelt lead single, “Too Hard Not To,” the soulful Southern Gospel song, “Evidence,” and the hip-hop-driven “We Livin.” The set also includes a reproduction of the previously recorded track “Woh, Oh, Oh.”
The album arrives on the heels of Tina’s 20-date ‘It’s Still Personal tour,’ set to kick off on October 18th in Los Angeles. The trek will run until November 18th and will feature support from sister and Mary Mary member Erica Campbell, Jekalin Carr, The Walls, A cappella sensation Resound, comedian/singer Jermaine Dolly, newcomer Jor’dan Armstrong, and spoken word poets Ezekial Azonwu, David Bowden and Matthew.
