Back in October, Sevyn Streeter was told she wasn’t allowed to sing the National Anthem at the season-opening game for the Philly 76ers because she wore a jersey that read “We Matter.”
After documenting the ordeal on social media and getting a public apology from the 76ers organization (which consisted of announcing she would get another chance to sing), Sevyn finally got a re-do.
On Friday (Dec. 16), Sevyn sang the National Anthem as the 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers game proudly rocking her “We Matter” jersey. She posted a clip of it on IG. “Full Circle Moment with @sixers,” she captioned.
