After much anticipation, Arima Ederra drops her new ten-track EP Temporary Fixes. Preceded by singles “Trippin On U”, “In My Garden” and “Artist Addiction,” Temporary Fixes offers Ederra’s alternative R&B sound and thoughtful, reflective, honest songwriting.
Per a press release:
“‘Temporary Fixes’ was a social experiment created by Arima Ederra and long time friend/visual collaborator Journey Sue. Arima asked a group of friends an array of questions in relation to the concept of time and space; the meaning of ‘Forever’ and ‘Temporary.’ Since the passing of Arima’s father in 2012, ‘Temporary Fixes’ was another outlet for Arima to heal and since she has lead her life in her temporary experiences and has been studying time as we know it. ‘Temporary Fixes’ is designed to show the many perceptions of time and what it means to each individual person, giving them the freedom to express their temporary experiences. Arima also gives us bits and pieces of her experiences over the past few years, showcasing writings, poetry and photos that reflect her world.”
Production credits include Sa’eed, Ben Free, Jack Hyde, Chloe MArtini, DJ Orc, Dead702, Arima Ederra, Te’Amir, Shyxlo, Mike McTaggart, and Tutu Sweeney. Temporary Fixes follows her 2012 debut EP, Earth To Arima.
