Fergie chucks up the deuces to an ex-flame on her new song “Life Goes On,” a record from her highly-anticipated forthcoming album.
The twangy song was produced by Toby Gad, the same producer behind her 2006 hit (“Big Girls Don’t Cry”) and is about leaving a relationship behind and looking towards the future.
“Life goes on with or without you / You could go or you could stay / Well, who cares anyway?” she sings.
It’s been over ten years since Fergie released her debut solo album, 2006’s The Dutchess. It’s assumed her follow-up project will arrive sometime in 2017.
