From their third LP, The 11th Sky (which dropped late last month,) New Zealand-based collective Electric Wire Hustle (EWH) drops the visual for “Red Window,” a tribute to the late great Prince.
The Purple One was an obvious influence on EWH’s psychedelic, soulful sound. About the song, EWH frontman Mara TK explains: “I wrote this song immediately after Prince died, it’s something of an ode to him; his social conscience, his bravery in terms of lyric writing and of course his guitar playing.”
The accompanying visual is simple-yet-colorful in nature: grassy and desert-like landscapes whizz by as if you’re sitting in the backseat during a road trip, the topography changing vivid colors.
