New Jersey Songstress Britanny Fousheé Drops A Dope ‘Melody’ With Debut Single

“Oh sweet melody! Sing me your praises!” exclaims Britanny Fousheé on her debut single entitled “Melody,” a clever ode to her true love, music.

The song (written by Britanny herself, music written by Kevin Andreas) is a sweet, mid-tempo love song that lulls its listeners into a state of pure bliss. Simple-yet-compelling chords meet up with Britanny’s rich vocals, & provocative story-telling to create a listening experience not soon forgotten.

“This is who I am in a nutshell. I think the song best describes my musical style, by combining all my influences to be a weird Frankenstein of creativity. But more than that, music is my best friend; Sometimes, my only friend. Seriously, what feels better than humming a familiar melody in the middle of a particularly rough day? It’s the only language that’s universally spoken, and it’s medicinal. Or at least it should be.” she reveals of her latest release.

I get that the song is about the melody, but IMO they do a disservice to Brittany’s vocals by burying her vocal behind the melody. Gotta bring it forward IMO.
