Chris Brown Releases Two Songs, ‘A Lot Of Love’ & ‘My Friend,’ Posts Video About Recent Police Shootings

In the wake of the most recent police killings, Chris Brown dropped an IC video that shows Breezy voicing his thoughts on the incidents, and he’s fed up.

“Something’s got to give,” he said. “We’re getting killed everyday…This shit needs to stop, bro…I’m getting pissed off about this shit, regardless of how you f*cking view me…us as a people need to start coming together,” he says.

The clip was accompanied by a short song called “A Lot Of Love” that aims to motivate good vibes amid senseless violence. “Feels like a burden’s on our shoulders, don’t let it get you down / Through all the prejudice and violence , your heart still can smile / You gotta say, ‘ooh child things are gonna get easier’,”he sings on the first verse.

 

 

He also released another song called “My Friend,” a ballad dedicated to those going through hard times. “This song I released for free for anybody dealing with injustice or struggle in their lives,” he captioned. Listen to Breezy’s second heartfelt offering below:
