Chris Brown Upset Over Grammy Snub And White Actor Cast As MJ, Goes On Twitter Rant

Chris Brown has always been vocal on the Twitter front; his latest small rants are about being snubbed at this year’s Grammys and the controversial casting of white actor Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson.

On Jan. 29th, Brown voiced his dissatisfaction with his latest album Royalty not receiving any Grammy love.

#GRAMMY? This is probably the main reason i love being free to create any kind of music I want. Too many people kiss ass And work less,” he tweeted.

“I’m thankful to my fans, I am able to be the best artist I can without having to conform to the ways of my peers. I also need my commission,” he continued.

And one more tweet read, “If u turn on ya radio right now I promise within the hour you will hear CHRIS BROWN on damn near half the songs or I’ve co-written. The awards used to mean something. Now it’s about likes, and memes.”

The mention of him being on the radio every second IS true, but the Grammy’s don’t necessarily cater to radio popularity like other awards (a.k.a Billboard).

Regarding Fiennes playing his idol Michael Jackson in an upcoming British sitcom, like many fans, Brown isn’t too happy about that either.

“Y’all know y’all dead wrong to have dude play MJ. If that’s the case LET ME BE SUPERMAN. Da fuck they do that at? Is that blackface? I DONT SUPPORT THAT CORNY ASS SHIT!” he tweeted. (Yes, Chris, actually you CAN play Superman since he’s a fictional character, but I digress.)

Anyways, in other Breezy news (or gossip), it seem Brown may be on edge in his personal life when it comes to his baby mama, Nia Guzman. According to TMZ, Guzman claims their daughter, 1-year-old Royalty, as developed asthma due to begin around Brown, who smokes cigs and marijuana. Per legal documents, Nia wants Chris lawfully subjected to random drug tests and to stop smoking around their daughter.

Not only that, TMZ reports that Nia wants her child support from Chris upped from $2500/month to $16,000/month.
