Toronto’s Jennie Laws & Rapper Scipio Collab On Chill Track, ‘Sabotage’

Ever experience heartbreak where it seemed like your heart was purposefully torn apart?

Toronto Soul/R&B singer-songwriter Jennie Laws calls it “Sabotage” and puts that emotion into her first single.

Over the slow burning track, Laws calls out her liar’s deceptive actions. “Why you gotta mess around, wasting my time and taking me for a ride?” she asks. California-rapper Scipio (aka XO) adds a nice his flow to the song with his verse.

Lovin’ the groove on this one!

Laws has opened for Bruno Mars and sung background vocals for Michael Buble and INXS. Now, Laws has joined recent Roc Nation signee, Belly’s, production team to do direct writing for artists such as Usher, Alicia Keys, The Weeknd and Beyonce.

“Sabotage” is from her upcoming album Destiny set to release in the Spring of 2016. This is Laws’ first full-length album, following her debut EP from 2008, Introducing Jennie.
